Donald Blankenhorn

Funeral Services for 88 year old Donald D. Blankenhorn of Washington are at 10:00 Wednesday (3/31) morning at the Jones Eden Funeral Home in Washington. Burial is at Elm Grove Cemetery. Visitation opens at 2:00 tomorrow (3/30) afternoon at the funeral home. Family will be present from 5:30 to 7:30 tomorrow night. A general memorial has been established.

Supervisors to Talk Roads

Washington Chamber Collecting DVDs for “Kain’s Wish Box”

The Washington Chamber of Commerce is taking donations for a project called Kain’s Wish Box. Kain Schilling is an Iowa soldier who was severely injured while serving in Afghanistan.

Funeral Services for 92 year old Martha Ellen Moore of Washington are Tuesday (3/30) afternoon at 1:30 at the Stacy-Lewis Home for Funeral and Cremation Services in Columbus Junction.  Visitation is Monday (3/29) from 4-7 at the funeral home.  Burial will be in the Columbus City Cemetery.
