Marion Man Hopes to Replace Loebsack

[1]A businessman from Marion is hoping to run against Eastern Iowa Congressman Dave Loebsack this fall. Rob Gettemy has announced he’ll seek the Republican nomination in the June Primary. Gettemy says he believes the “country has reached a tipping point.” He says he believes -quote- “Dave Loebsack entered public service with the best of intentions; however his results are more representative of Nancy Pelosi’s agenda.” Gettemy has an MBA from Drake University and operates a Christian apparel company with his family.
