A bill in the Iowa House would allow trucks to carry larger loads. Riverside State Representative Larry Marek is chair of the house ag committee. He says it would allow triple axle trucks to carry 16-18 percent more than they are currently allowed to. Marek says the state DOT and an organization representing county engineers have signed off on the measure.
