Concerns over creating hardships for people who run automotive related businesses prompted Washington City Councilors to table a revised junk and junk vehicle ordinance at this week’s meeting. The measure had language that wouldn’t allow such businesses to store vehicles outdoors for more than 30 days. Members also expressed concern that the ordinance might not be fair to someone who is restoring a classic or antique car.
