The Washington County Riverboat Foundation is now accepting applications for its spring competitive grant cycle. The foundation distributes 75-percent of its funds to non-profit organizations through this disbursement. The other 25-percent is handed out to Washington County municipalities based on population. During the last competitive grant period, the Riverboat Foundation dolled out nearly 1.8-million dollars to 27 non profit groups.
