Title: Sweetheart Supper

Description: The Washington Community Y is having a Sweetheart Supper on Friday, February 12th from 6 to 8pm. Rib-eye steak, cheese stuffed potato, broccoli, Normandy, garden salad, dinner roll, and chocolate chip cheesecake will all be served. Cost is $8 per person and includes dinner and entertainment. Title: The Iowa Cancer Consortium Forum
Location: Washington County Hospital-Robert Nichola Conference Room
Description: The Iowa Cancer Consortium will be holding a forum to present the latest cancer data for SE Iowa.
Healthcare providers, cancer survivors, public health officials, community-based organizations, faith-based leaders, local decision-makers and community members interested in cancer issues are all encouraged to come. The forum will be March 1, from 2:30-4:00 at the Washington County Hospital-Robert Nichola Conference Room.

Title: Compassionate Heart Luncheon
Description: Hospice of Washington County will be having a Compassionate Heart Luncheon coming up on Friday February 12th. This event is open to anyone who has experienced a loss of a loved one. A light lunch will be served at no cost. Prairie Serenade will be entertaining during the luncheon. Reservations are required for this event. Title: Authentic Mexican Lunch Benefit

Description: To benefit the Haiti Relief Effort and Faustino Tapia-Who is waiting for a Kidney Transplant and needs help to cover medical Expenses, the Latino parishers will be having an Authentic Mexican Lunch on Sunday February 7th between 11am-2pm.at the St James Church. Description: The West Chester Community Action Team is holding a Valentine\’s Dinner on February 13, from 4:30-7:00 PM at the West Chester Methodist Church. Chicken Breast, Beef and Pork Dinners will be served. Free Will Donations are accepted and will be used towards the purchase of a security camera for the Heritage Building Area.

Description: On Saturday, February 13th from 6:00 – 8:00 PM the YMCA will be having a SPECIAL NEEDS VALENTINES DAY DANCE on the 3rd floor of the Y. It’s $ 4.00 per person and supervisors get in free. They will have snacks and juice provided for everyone that attends.

Description: Join the YMCA on Friday, February 19th for fun family activities. They will make crafts, play a game and have a light meal. The fun starts at 6:00pm – 7:30pm. Parents must accompany their children. It’s free for members and $5 for non members up to 4 family members, and $1 for each additional person.
