It will likely be illegal to send a text message while driving in Iowa after this year’s legislative session. State Representative Larry Marek says the measure has passed out of committee and will soon be in front of the full house. Marek says he wants to preserve Iowan’s ability to talk on a cell phone while driving. He says that’s often crucial for farmers and small business owners.
