State Senator Becky Schmitz says lawmakers this session are hoping to create a state run database of health insurance information. Schmitz says it’s geared toward people who don’t have coverage. She says people wouldn’t actually be able to buy a policy, but could easily compare price and benefits. Schmitz says they also hope to addresses both the state’s shortage of nurses, and nursing educators.
