IMS holds off Demon boys

The Washington Demon boys basketball team played host to third ranked IMS on Saturday, and it turned out to be a typical Demon-IMS game. Both teams had times where they led in the game and neither one had a big lead. Late in the game Washington led 54-53 but an IMS three and a bucket and IMS was up 58-54 and IMS just hit free throws down the stretch including hitting two on a couple of one and one’s to keep the game at a two possession difference. IMS won 68-63. For the Demons Alex Vogel had 19 and Isaac Gardner had 18. Washington will next head to Mid-Prairie tomorrow for a boy-girl doubleheader.
