Iowa Mennonite School is getting more than $10,000 in state grant money to install solar panels. The state office of energy independence is funding 13 similar projects around the state through the Iowa Power Fund Community Grant Program. The project at IMS is designed to “provide the catalyst for education and increased awareness in the school and community about renewable energy.”
