Golden Hawks headed to Sub-State

The Mid-Prairie Golden Hawks beat Pekin in District Final action to move on to Sub-State. The Golden Hawks were down much of the first half but finished strong to take a 23-20 lead in at halftime. Mid-Prairie got a good lead in the second half but Pekin came back and pulled within four in the fourth quarter but the Golden Hawks ended up winning 55-44. Tanner Miller had 20 points, Michael Aldeman had 9 and Quinn Hollan had 8 points. Mid-Prairie improves to 17-5, they will face Albia on Saturday in Oskaloosa. Albia beat Davis County 59-51.

IMS 68 WACO 39
Keota 67 HLV 29
Central City 65 Lone Tree 52
Lisbon 49 Winfield-Mount Union 42
So IMS will play Holy Trinity who beat Notre Dame 42-41 that will be tomorrow at Mediapolis
Keota will playh Lynnville-Sully at Meskwaki Settlement School. Lynnville-Sully beat Montezuma 39-30.
