A local pastor says the economic recession created more need for charity in 2009. Jim Cluney is with First Assembly of God in Washington. He’s noticed more people in need over the past year. Cluney was recently named as president of the Washington Area Ministerial Association. He says he looks forward to working with other local churches in the New Year.
