Washington School Board members are considering selling 90 acres of land on the north side of town to the city. They recently approved buying nearly 20 acres of ground near the junior high from farmer John Berdo. Mayor Sandra Johnson says the city may be interested in the 90 acre parcel as a potential spot for a wellness park. School Board members will discuss the sale at Wednesday’s meeting. It starts at 7:0 in the school administration building.
