Soup Luncheon and Dinner Fund-Raiser

The Washington Area Habitat for Humanity will be having a Soup Luncheon and Dinner fund-raiser coming up  on Tuesday.  It will be held at the United Presbyterian Church in Washington with lunch serving from 11am – 1pm and dinner from 4:30 – 7:00pm.  Carry-out will also be available.  A free-will donation will be accepted and all proceeds will go to help support your local Washington Area Habitat for Humanity.

Free Concert of Christian Music

The Columbus Presbyterian Church is hosting a free concert of Christian Music,  Sunday, Jan 31 at 2:30pm. The concert will feature “Fellowship”, a men’s quartet from the Columbus Presbyterian Church, and “Selah” a women’s group from Winfield. Refreshments will be served after the concert.

House Fire in Washington

An electric blanket is being labeled the cause of a house fire at 1023 East Washington St. Washington, the Robert and Karen Crossett residence, at around 6:55 P.M. Friday night.

Demon girls hold off Trojans in fourth
