Washington County Conservation is hosting an ice fishing clinic this month at Marr Park. Department of Natural Resources Biologist Mark Flemming says ice fishing is an excellent wintertime activity because you can spend as much or as little as you want. Flemming says you can increase your comfort and possibly your success with items such as ice houses, depth finders and motorized ice augers. The clinic at Marr Park will offer such amenities, but participants can bring their own gear. The event is January 16 beginning at 1:00 pm.
