Eastern Iowa Congressman Dave Loebsack has announced that the Hawkeye State will receive federal funds for job training. Loebsack as the economy recovers, industries will need a new type of employee. The Mt. Vernon Democrat says the training grants will help fund technician programs for wind turbine repair, home energy rater training and green building professional certification. More than two million dollars is going to fund such programs in Iowa and Minnesota.
