A Mid-Prairie student will be honored by Congressman Dave Loebsack at a reception for students who are applying for acceptance at the United States Service Academies. Michael Leedy, who is in the Mid-Prairie Home School Assistance Program, will join ten other Iowa High Schoolers at Congressman Loebsack’s District Office in Cedar Rapids Saturday. Loebsack will nominate the ten students, with final selection for admission made by the individual academy.
