The Mid-Prairie Golden Hawk boys basketball team has two huge conference games coming up in the next two nights. First, Mid-Prairie heads on the road to face conference leader North Cedar. North Cedar has only one conference loss on the season and beat Mid-Prairie in Wellman. Then on Saturday, the Golden Hawks will head to Cedar Rapids to play Iowa City Regina as part of Rivalry Saturday. Mid-Prairie Head Coach Don Showalter says it’ll be a good experience for them playing in a bigger arena on a bigger floor. Regina is right behind Mid-Prairie with three conference losses.
