A crash on Washington County Road G38, south of West Chester last night sent one person to the hospital. The Sheriff’s Office says Kenneth Finley of La Harpe, Illinois was attempting to back a tractor-trailer into a driveway at 1754 250th at about 6:40 pm, when Michael Lash of Iowa City smashed into the front end of the semi with his pickup-truck. Officers say Lash’s vehicle came to rest in the roadway’s south ditch. One person was taken to University of Iowa Hospital. The accident report does not specify who was hospitalized
