The Washington Police Chief is encouraging motorists to be ready for winter driving. Greg Goodman says the first substantial snowfall can often catch people off guard. He says it’s important to allow extra time to stop and accelerate when driving in snow or ice. Goodman says it’s also important to make sure your vehicle is in good working order and keep an emergency kit in your vehicle.
