Christmas Trees are going up in homes across the country. Washington Fire Chief Tom Wide says for those that choose a real tree, it’s paramount to keep them well watered. Wide says the smallest of sparks can instantly ignite a dry Christmas Tree. He says it’s also important not to overload outlets with holiday light strands and to make sure that extension cords are not underneath tree stands.
