WCSB Takes Final Step to Issue Bonds

The Washington School Board has taken the final step in issuing sales tax bonds to fund construction of a new high school. Superintendent Dave Sextro says members met during a special meeting today in order to meet legal deadlines. Sextro says the borrowed money will be invested so they can collect interest to offset the interest they have to pay on it. Construction on the new high school is expected to being by July of next year.
