The Iowa Department of Public Health is asking for help combating seasonal and H1N1 influenza. The state agency says public health at the local, state and national level can only do so much. The public is encouraged to get vaccinated against the seasonal strain of the virus, and when appropriate H1N1. They also say practicing good hygiene and covering coughs and sneezes is paramount.
