The Board of Supervisors want Washington County Departments to increase their expenditures by no more than one percent next fiscal year. Supervisors worked out the plan after a lengthy discussion at this weeks’ meeting. One common concern was over employee compensation. One potential problem is the fact that the county has already entered into negotiations with two unions.
