The Washington County Sheriff’s Office will officially add two deputies this week. The board of supervisors is slated to approve two certificates of appointment at Tuesday’s meeting. The sheriff’s office had two vacancies following a retirement and an officer leaving to take a position with the state. Supervisors are also expected sign off on a measure allowing the Washington Chamber of Commerce to use the courthouse for legislative briefings. The meeting start’s at 9:30 Tuesday morning.
