Few details are being released about a homicide investigation in Washington. Police Chief Greg Goodman says if they disclose too much it can compromise the investigation. He says they also don’t want potential suspects to known how much information law enforcement has. The investigation centers on a late November fracas outside the 4th Avenue Bar and Grill. Witnesses told police Robert Thomas Blankenship was found unconscious outside the tavern. He later died at an Iowa City Hospital.
