A local pastor says the economic downturn has not had too much of an affect on charitable donations this holiday season. Harold Gruber is with Faith Baptist Church in Washington. He hopes the Christmas spirit will sort of carry over into the new year. He says it’s easy to give during the holidays, but more of a challenge during other times.
