Orange Bowl date prompts school sports schedule changes

With the Iowa Hawkeyes playing Georgia Tech in the Orange Bowl January 5th, several area schools have made adjustments to their activities schedules. The Washington Demons were suppose to host Fort Madison for a boy-girl doubleheader but that has been moved to Monday January 4th. Mid-Prairie was going to host North Cedar for boy-girl doubleheader that has been moved to Thursday January 7th. Lone Tree hosting Louisa-Muscatine has also been moved to Thursday the seventh. Finally IMS hosting Highland, they have left the girls game on that night Tuesday the 5th, and it will be a varsity girls game only starting at 6-pm. The boys game has been moved to Saturday January 9th. You’ll be able to hear the Demons taking on Fort Madison Monday the 4th right here on the one to count on KCII we’ll have both the girls and boys games. Then you can listen Tuesday on KCII as the Hawkeyes face Georgia Tech.
