The first major winter storm of the season blanketed most of the region in nearly two inches of snow last night, and the National Weather Service says more is expected. A blizzard watch takes effect tomorrow through Wednesday. NWS says a dangerous winter storm will bring heavy snow and strong winds late tomorrow night into Wednesday morning.
