Eastern Iowa Congressman Dave Loebsack says he plans to hold the Obama Administration to the same level of scrutiny as the Bush Administration on the war in Afghanistan. Obama last night announced he plans to send an additional 30-thousand troops to Afghanistan. Loebsack got many of the answers he was seeking in the president’s speech such as clearly laid out goals, a realistic cost estimate and a plan to work with the Pakistani government to further secure and stabilize the region.
