The Keota Eagle boys basketball team went on the road to face Iowa Valley in a make up from last Tuesday, and the Eagles ran away early. Keota started the game on a 15-0 run and in the end only gave up 14 points in the game winning 71-14. Casey Sieren led the Eagles with 10 points Clint Bombei had 8, Evan Hammes added 7, and past that a lot of kids had between 4 and 6 points. Keota boys now return home to host Lynnville-Sully tonight.
On the girls’ side, Iowa Valley beat Keota by five 35-30. Keota girls also play Lynnville-Sully tonight but it’s a little different because while the boys play in Keota the girls will play at Lynnville.
