Harkin Co-Sponsors Bill to Protect Medicare

[1]U.S. Sen Tom Harkin (D-Iowa)Iowa Senator Tom Harkin yesterday praised the passage of Colorado Senator Michael Bennet’s amendment to the Patient Protection and Affordable Care Act, which Harkin cosponsored. The amendment says in clear terms that nothing in the Senate health reform legislation will cut guaranteed Medicare benefits. The amendment passed unanimously.
