Hacap is also reporting donations consistent with previous years in Washington. The organization is serving around 230 families, which is up from last year. Hacap Washington County Operations Manager Runella Crawford says the economy is one likely reason that more people are in need of assistance. Crawford says the Christmas Drive this year has been very successful, but is urging people to continue to donate food after the holidays are over.
