Several downtown businesses in Washington are having extended hours this evening. It’s part of Main Street’s Showcasing Night’s of Washington, or SNOW events. Executive Director Amy Vetter says they’ll also be announcing contest winters and serving refreshments at Santa’s House on the south side of the square. Vetter says the event is being called “In the Saint Nick of Time” and is designed to allow people to do last minute holiday shopping. The event runs from five to eight tonight in downtown Washington.
