Many of Washington’s downtown retailers chose to keep normal business hours yesterday, but that didn’t stop the shopping crowd. Chris Thoman of Richland says she chose to come to Washington before hitting up any of the big box stores because it’s closer and she didn’t want to fight the crowds. A handful of downtown businesses did opt open early and hold “door buster” sales. Others chose to stay open later during Main Street’s SNOW Events.
