Washington City Councilors this week approved issuing more than $124,000 in tax credits through an urban renewal program. The credits are going to Washington Preservation LLC…the group that renovated the Bryson Block Building. Washington residents can likely expect more remodeling in the downtown. Main Street is applying for a $20,000 challenge grant to help BODYWRX make façade improvements. Main Street also received a $50,000 grant from the Riverboat Foundation this week.
