The Washington County Sheriff’s Office wants four credit cards, but supervisors are saying: let’s keep it to two. Deputy Jared Schneider this week presented the request to the board. He says they asked for four, because they have four people who make most of the department’s purchases. Supervisor Wes Rich expressed concern over instantaneous purchases. He feels it could discourage shopping around for the best price.
