The 3rd Annual Jingle Bell Run was held in downtown Washington last night. Organizer Steve Roth says they had just over a hundred take part. Money raised will go towards a project at Case Field. Roth says they are hoping to buy a sign for the new press box. Participants were asked to bring a canned food item. On the men’s side Timothy Shepherd from Knoxville won running 17:46. On the women’s side Kelsey Anding took first running 21:27.
