The Iowa Department of Public Health is warning that humans aren’t the only ones who have to look out for the flu this season. The IDPH says there’s been a confirmed case of the H1N1 virus discovered in an Iowa house cat. The department says people who have flu like symptoms need to minimize contact with their furry friends. They say any pets that display flu symptoms should be taken to the veterinarian.
