Iowa Concern Hotline Offers Help for Stressed Farm Families

A tough economy, an unusually wet season, and some low commodity prices have area farmers stressed. That’s according to the ISU Extension Service. Margaret Van Ginkel is Director of the Iowa Concern Hotline. She says there are options available to farm families who are feeling overwhelmed. Van Ginkel says changes in daily routines, increased illnesses and neglect of daily chores are all signs that farm families are feeling stressed.
