The Washington Public Library will host a free media presentation and lecture next Saturday when they host Dr. Lisa Ossian. Ossian will discuss with area residents the contributions of Iowans on the home front during World War II. Ossian says Iowa’s industry helped the nation by producing millions of bullets, bombs, and even pants for fighting men.
