Veteran’s Day is this week and there are a variety of local events planned to honor the men and women of the armed services.American Legion Post 29 Commander Wendel Guy says they have a full plate on Veteran’s Day. including the dedication of the All Veteran’s Memorial on Lexington Boulevard, presenting the Washington School District with new flags and hosting a free meal for veterans.
