Students from Washington High School joined over 500 others from all across southeast Iowa for the 2009 Southeast Conference Vocal Festival yesterday (10/27). Vocal Director Robert Youngquist says the day-long event featured students from Keokuk, Fairfield, Ft. Madison, Mt. Pleasant, Ottumwa, and Washington. He says students arrived at Indian Hills College at 7:00 am for a day-long rehearsal of classical vocal works and performed a concert at 7:00 that evening.
