Washington County Supervisors this week officially take up a proposed zoning ordinance. They’re slated to acknowledge receiving the 99 page document and will likely discuss what their next step will be. The matter has been a contentious issue among some residents who say the ordinance is too restrictive. Supervisors will also hear the fair board’s annual report, a personnel change request from the sheriff’s office and review the county’s group health insurance plan.
