The Kalona Public Library will continue to hold story time hours throughout this month. Youth Services Director Marissa Tartaglia says Octobers sessions will take on a Halloween and fall theme with pumpkins, monsters, scarecrows, and trick-or-treating. Tartaglia says the goal of these programs is to help increase early childhood literacy and reading skills for toddlers and preschoolers. Sessions will be held Wednesdays this month from 10:30-11 am at the library.
