The Sigourney Savage volleyball team’s season came to an end last night as Davis County beat them. The Mustangs won 25-22, 25-18, 25-23. Davis County will play Mediapolis next, Mepo won in three over West Burlington.

In Class 1A, IMS advanced to the Regional Semifinal round with a win over English Valleys last night. IMS won 25-19, 25-27, 25-13, 25-21. They next face New London on Friday. New London had a tight match with Winfield-Mount Union. New London won the first two games 25-19, 25-19, but the Wolves came storming back winning the next two 25-20 and 25-23. In the final frame, New London won 17-15. IMS and New London will play in Washington on Friday.
