Southeast Iowa Boy Scouts will be scouting for food in the coming week thanks to donations from area residents. Boy Scout spokesman John Myers says scouts delivered donation bags to residents in Iowa, Johnson, and Washington counties yesterday and will return this coming Saturday to collect donations. Myers says scouts raised 54,000 pounds of food from seven counties in eastern Iowa with all donations going to local churches and food pantries.
