Progress Slow, but Crop Still Looks Good

Wet, cold weather is delaying harvest this fall. However, it still appears that it will be a good year for corn and soybeans. That’s according to ISU Regional Director Gene Mohling. Mohling says the biggest challenge corn growers are facing is moisture. He says some is testing in the 25 to 28 percent range. He says it needs to be dried down closer to 20 percent.
