Description: Bright Future Chiropractic in Kalona will host a free movie night Monday, October 12 at 6:30. They will be showing Consuming Kids a look at how marketing in the 21st century has an effect on children. Admission is free and on a first come, first served basis at the Kalona Public Library.

Description: The Snap-On Tools’ No Compromise Tour will stop in Washington Saturday, October 10 from 11:00 am – 3:00 pm. They will have tool displays, information, and a chance to buy some of their products.

Description: Keota Youth Plus will hold their “After Prom” breakfast Sunday, October 11 at Lagos Acres. Serving will run from 8:30-noon with a free will donation.

Title: Literacy Night
Description: Lincoln Elementary will hold Literacy Night Thursday, October 15 from 5-6:30 pm. There will be informational sessions for parents including reading tips, internet safety, and programs at the Washington Library. Games will be available for kids.
