One of Iowa’s US representatives believes small business is the key to creating jobs during the economic recession. Congressman Dave Loebsack says small businesses represent 97-percent of employers in Iowa and create 60 to 80 percent of new jobs every year. The Democratic congressman is supporting the Small Business financing and Investment Act, which will make it easier for small firms to obtain loans or state funds.
